The fall Voices from the Field series, co-sponsored by the Global Water Institute, the Center for African Studies and the Global One Health Initiative, brought together eight speakers in multiple disciplines to give their perspectives on the Challenges and Opportunities of Data in Africa. Over 150 people attended the series throughout the semester, with additional attendees participating remotely through live streaming of sessions.

Stay tuned for another great lineup this spring as we feature faculty from the Department of Agricultural, Environmental and Developmental Economics, the Department of Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology, John Glenn College of Affairs, and other groups both from Ohio State and collaborating universities. The series will continue next semester with the same theme, and all sessions will still be held on Wednesdays from 12-1 starting in January 2018. Participants are welcome to bring lunch and eat during the sessions, which will mostly be held in Enarson Classroom Building (check back for session locations).
