As GWI gears up for our Second Annual Did You Know event next week, we are excited to share more about our lineup of speakers. We are also very pleased to announce that Dr.Gil Latz, the Vice Provost for Global Strategies and International Affairs, and Dr. David Williams, the Dean of the College of Engineering, will be providing introductory remarks.

Presenters for Did You Know represent three offices, eight colleges, and twelve departments and schools across campus. This diverse set of speakers indicates both the level and broad range of activities that OSU is engaged with in East Africa. This year, along with faculty and staff, students from Engineers without Borders, Fisher Global Applied Projects, and undergraduate capstone courses will present on their work in the region.

We are thrilled to have so much involvement across campus and from so many levels of the university. Our goal is for this year’s Did You Know event to provide a space to learn more about OSU activities, but also to connect faculty, staff, and students who can create new collaborations and partnerships. We are looking forward to a great event, and we give a very special thank you to Dr. Latz and Dean Williams for their participation!
