Tackling harmful algal blooms in Lake Erie and other freshwater bodies is no easy challenge–but GWI Senior Faculty Lead Jay Martin and others have some ideas for how to address these annual nuisances. Following a new report just out by Martin and colleagues at the University of Michigan, Ohio State, Heidelberg and Texas A & M, he participated in a panel discussion in Cleveland today to share ideas for sustainable solutions.
