EVENT: Euphrates Tigris Water Issues Workshop

Coinciding with the celebration of Earth Day, GWI, the Mershon Center for International Security Studies, and the Middle East Studies Center will co-sponsor a full-day workshop about the geological, political, and cultural forces acting in the Tigris-Euphrates water systems and new ideas for research and policy approaches to ease tensions. The workshop is free and open to all, but please register. The workshop will kick off the night before with a keynote address by Prof. Aysegul Kibaroglu, Professor of Political Science and International Relations at
MEF University in Istanbul, Turkey.
